Williams Thompson specialises in three areas of law, Family Matters, Wills & Probate and Property. Their clients come from all walks of life and their reputation in family law, in particular, has attracted clients from across the Bournemouth conurbation, the New Forest and further afield including London.
To achieve our objectives, we undertook a number of PR activities. This included creating press releases highlighting Williams Thompson’s involvement in the local community, support for local charities and sponsorship of local events. We have also liaised closely with their team of solicitors to produce industry focused press releases, which set Williams Thompson aside as experts in their specialist fields.
Furthermore, we have produced regular blogs to increase traction to the Williams Thompson website, managed their various social media platforms and produced award-winning applications. Aiming to increase awareness locally, we also developed a series of ‘Breakfast on Bridge Street’ networking events aimed at the Christchurch business community.
Williams Thompson have won multiple awards including the prestigious Partner of the Year Award at the National Law Awards for their former chairman Peter Watson-Lee. Receiving recognition in the Dorset legal community, we also helped Williams Thompson win the Family Team of the Year Award at the Dorset Legal Awards 2017.
We’ve created a series of popular networking events, inviting local business owners and managers. These events are regularly attended by over 30 individuals and have successfully spread awareness for the firm in the local community.
Williams Thompson legal news and advice commentary is regularly featured in the local media. This has helped to enhance their reputation as experts, highlighting their specialist family law, mediation, property law and will writing services.
We’ve also successfully increased awareness for their many community engagement projects, including their support for the Autism Wessex Charity, Macmillan Caring Locally, The Second Smile Project, the Christchurch Food Festival, Highcliffe Castle Golf Club and Sway Cricket Club.
