We can hardly believe it, but 2021 is almost at an end and we have a new year to look forward to, now just a few weeks away. It’s been a tough 12 months in many respects, with the ongoing pandemic impacting our lives in a myriad of different ways, big and small, but we have worked hard to flex and adapt, seek out opportunities for our clients amid the challenges, and always keep our positive pants on!
Winning clients and coverage
For us, 2021 has been a truly successful and rewarding year, we’re pleased to say. We have done some incredible work with businesses of every size across many sectors, from Dorset schools, to tourist attractions, to one of the biggest care providers in the UK.
We’ve won fantastic coverage and built awareness, sharing our clients’ stories across a multitude of platforms, be that through traditional press releases and pitches, social media campaigns, event launches, targeted Google ads, or liaising with contacts at regional and nation publications, television and radio. It feels amazing to help clients reach the audiences and potential customers they need to reach, and see their business boosted (by more than 50% in one case!).

We love awards! We’ve been delighted to help several clients win awards through our much-acclaimed awards service, and we were very pleased to be recognised with two prestigious national awards ourselves in 2021. We’ve been invited to judge some high profile awards, and we’re even sponsoring an award for the Dorset Tourism Awards!
New team members
This year saw DNPR welcome aboard the brilliant Jordan, who has now been with us seven months and has become a highly valued member of the team. We’re looking forward to bringing on board some new team members next year to help us keep up with our ever-increasing client list.
Busy, busy, busy!
We’ve travelled, we’ve networked, we’ve laughed, we’ve marked milestone birthdays, not least DNPR turning sweet 16, there was the launch of a book which Darren helped to write, and of course his being made a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations back in January.
What a year it has been – and it has flown by! But, never ones to stand still, we’re already looking ahead to next year, planning more campaigns, generating more ideas, and getting ready for more hard work, more fun, and delivering even more results. Roll on 2022 – we’re ready for you!
