Giving Back to Dorset

We are delighted to announce that our Managing Director Darren has just been accepted as an Ambassador of the Dorset Community Foundation. Not only that, he is currently being considered as one of the charity’s Trustees!

Ambassadors like Darren serve as advocates of the Foundation’s philanthropic work. They are committed to raising the profile of the organisation across Dorset, communicating its mission to a wider public, and assisting its Board of Trustees.

The Dorset Community Foundation was founded in 2000 to channel government funds to Dorset causes, but has since grown to become a major provider of services to donors who wish to support local causes and people. Primarily, it aims to encourage and apply philanthropic contributions to help improve the quality of life amongst communities in Dorset, to provide grants to support local issues, and to connect donors and volunteers with the organisations that can effect change.

Darren says he is excited to help the Dorset Community Foundation in achieving its goals:

“Having worked with the Foundation in the past, I feel so honoured to have been accepted for the role! I now regard it as my duty to help create united and thriving communities in Dorset by fostering a culture of giving and philanthropy.”
